What HolidayMaximizer collects

You do not need an account to use the site. Planner choices are processed in your browser. Some selections may appear in the page URL, and standard request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL and timestamps may be processed in hosting or security logs.

Hosting and holiday-data services

The site is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request and security information to deliver and protect the site. For countries where we do not use a locally bundled calendar, your browser may request public-holiday data from Nager.Holidays; that service can receive the technical information normally sent with a web request, including your IP address and the country/year requested.

Advertising and cookies

HolidayMaximizer uses Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device information and similar technologies to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Where required in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform will ask for the relevant choices before personalised advertising is served. You can change advertising choices through the consent controls when shown and through Google’s advertising settings.

HolidayMaximizer itself does not require advertising cookies in order for the planner to function.

Why data may be processed

Technical data may be processed where necessary to provide, secure and maintain the site. Non-essential advertising storage or personalised advertising is based on consent where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@kattegatstudio.dk.

Third-party information

Google’s own privacy information and advertising controls apply to data processed by Google. Cloudflare and Nager.Holidays publish their own privacy information for data they process as independent service providers.
